Development of this 5.9-acre site provided UniFirst with a 63,000 SF state-of-the-art laundry facility and ancillary vehicle maintenance building for their Northwest Indiana market. Both structures are comprised of an insulated pre-cast concrete shell. The primary building features truck docks for delivery drivers, laundry washroom, processing area, stock room and administrative functions. A spacious and well-stocked break room is adjacent to the first-floor office area and the back-of-house, providing access for all employees. Second floor office space accommodates a large conference room, two smaller meeting rooms and offices for the facility managers. Northeast of the laundry facility sits the 2,200 SF vehicle maintenance building. This structure provides UniFirst with two repair bays, vehicle parts storage and an office for the mechanics. Both buildings feature UniFirst Green in their facades, with the primary structure extending the green motif to standing seam roof elements, canopies and fencing along the outdoor break patio.
